DUBAI: In response to surging regional demand for Eid Al Fitr 2025, Emirates is rolling out an additional 17 flights between 26 March and 6 April.

The airline anticipates transporting over 371,000 passengers during this festive period, enhancing travel opportunities for those reuniting with family, celebrating with loved ones, or embarking on leisure getaways.

The expanded schedule includes six extra flights to Amman, five to Dammam, four to Jeddah, and two additional services to Kuwait. These supplementary routes will provide greater flexibility for travellers heading to Dubai and beyond, with popular destinations such as Bangkok, Phuket, London, New York, Johannesburg, Mumbai, Karachi, and Cairo expected to see increased passenger traffic.

In-flight festivities

Honouring its heritage and Eid traditions, Emirates will present a specially curated menu across all travel classes on select flights. Passengers can indulge in traditional dishes like chicken madhbi, prawn matfi, and chicken makloubeh, alongside mixed grills including chicken shish taouk and lamb kofta. Sweet treats such as halwa brownie and pistachio cake will round off the festive offerings, ensuring a delightful culinary experience in the sky.

In-flight entertainment

Emirates’ award-winning ice entertainment system will feature an extensive selection of over 6,500 channels. Passengers can explore 2,000 international films, including 80 Arabic movies such as Hassan El Masri, Aal Zero, Al Eid Eiden, and El Da3wa 3ammah. Additionally, 24 Arabic TV series, including Mawdou’ Aeli Season 3 and Sadaf, will be available, alongside 11 Arabic documentaries and a diverse range of Arabic music genres spanning pop, classics, Khaleeji, Maghrebi, and fusion sounds.

For those looking for spoken-word content, Emirates offers 15 channels featuring Arabic podcasts, audiobooks, and The Holy Qur’an, ensuring a rich entertainment experience for all travellers.
